Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Wednesday that Kuwait had unlawfully attacked an Iranian boat and detained four Iranian citizens in the Gulf.

“We demand immediate release of our nationals and reserve right to respond,” Araghchi said in a post on X.

On Tuesday, Kuwait said it had arrested four people affiliated with Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps who attempted to infiltrate the Gulf state by sea.
