Apparel giant aims for fresh footholds in promising Asian growth markets

TOKYO -- Japan's casual clothing store chain Uniqlo is betting on the Indian market with plans to quintuple the number of its outlets there to more than 100 within five years, sources familiar with the matter told Nikkei.
