Situated within the Jardin Emotions of the Jardins d'Étretat, one can find the "Drops of Rain" sculptures by Samuel Salcedo, that pout, grin, and stick their tongues out at visitors.
These sculptures are nestled into bushes in a way that is supposed to resemble oyster habitats, as an homage to Marie Antoinette's oyster farm by this garden. They display the range of human emotion with a sort of lightheartedness and absurdity that makes Étretat feel even more magical.
