Seven Mile Beach just feels different. I’ve been coming to Grand Cayman for two decades, and Seven Mile Beach always surprises. Just how warm the water is. How clear it is. How perfect it is.

There’s an apocryphal story that the waters here have some kind of healing properties; I have to say that every time I come here, I’m more convinced. You just feel something here, something different.

There’s a reason, after all, this is considered one of the world’s best beaches — and easily one of the best anywhere in the Caribbean. It’s good all year around, and even, I would submit, better in the summer.

Because a perfect beach isn’t just about the scenery, or the surroundings. It’s about the way it makes you feel.

Seven Mile Beach has a pull, a magnetism. It’s one of those beaches where you just don’t want to leave the water.
