Banks to work with state-backed JBIC to strengthen New Delhi's energy security

NEW DELHI -- State-backed Japan Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC), Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. and other lenders will provide up to 80 billion yen ($492 million) in financing to develop India's power grid, Nikkei has learned.
